We are currently looking for a Housekeeping Assistant who is looking for an exciting and challenging role. This role is key, as we aim to achieve 100% guest satisfaction. There is a distinct ‘family feel’ and you will play an integral part to the overall day to day operations of the business.

The housekeeper we are looking for will take pride in the properties they work in, within Edinburgh. Our Housekeeping Team Members are an essential point of contact for all our guests, by delivering a warm welcome and ensuring guests receive quick, efficient, and professional service throughout their stay. You will have no guaranteed hours each week however you will not work more than to 35 hours per week, over 5 days from 7 on a rota system.

You must speak fluent English, although other languages are advantageous.

Previous hospitality experience is preferable.

Responsibilities will include:

· Maintain cleanliness and dress apartments to the quality standards required

· Complete daily quality checklists for each apartment

· Maintain the stock and storage areas to the quality standard required

· Liaise with Reception daily for early departures and rooms ready for set up

· Sort laundry as per procedure

· Maintain cleanliness of Reception, kitchen, staff room and toilet daily

· Maintain working relationships with colleagues and guests alike

· Other duties may be required as the business dictates

Person Specification:

· Personal Presentation/hygiene of utmost importance, uniform clean and ironed at all times

· Good Time Management, with a flexible attitude to working shifts

· Energetic, cheerful and helpful personality

· Excellent Communication Skills

· Good spoken and written English

· Guest Service Orientated

A premium overtime rate of £12 per hour is offered when additional days are worked when required.
