Stock Administrator


 

We're excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join our rapidly expanding company. We specialise in providing rental contracts to low-income consumers throughout the UK. As we continue to grow, we seek an experienced and dedicated Stock Administrator to take ownership of our stock management processes.

Role Summary:

The Stock Administrator will take primary responsibility for managing all aspects of our stock system. This includes stock purchasing, stock reconciliation, overseeing stock rotation, monitoring stock aging, ensuring stock availability, and investigating any discrepancies. The role requires a robust and diligent individual who can handle our complex customer base, and who will drive our operations with both accuracy and efficiency.

This is a remote-based position, but occasional visits to our third-party warehouse in Telford will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stock purchasing operations to ensure stock availability.
  • Reconcile stock, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Oversee stock rotation, ensuring optimal efficiency and product freshness.
  • Monitor stock aging to maintain quality and mitigate potential losses.
  • Work closely with contractors to ensure efficient operation of all stock-related activities.
  • Liaise with our customer base, demonstrating resilience and tact during any challenging interactions.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar stock management role is essential. Applicants without this experience may not make it through the initial application sift.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of Finale and Trackpod is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with contractors and customers.
  • Ability to maintain focus and precision in a remote working environment.
  • Strong resilience and tenacity, with the ability to handle challenging situations effectively.
  • Must be willing and able to make occasional visits to our third-party warehouse in Telford.
