About the Role:

Are you an experience administrator looking for something different? This is an exciting opportunity to join our fun, forward-thinking Fire and Rescue Service supporting the wider Local resilience forum partnership.

If you like every day being different and want to work with our dynamic front line colleagues, support teams and the community by providing support to other essential partners that deal with emergencies including Police, Ambulance, Local Authorities, NHS and Environment agency (to name a few) then this role would be great for you.

This is a newly established key role which will provide essential support to the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Local Resilience Forum (CPLRF). You will contribute to the effective provision of secretarial, administration and support services, ensuring that business support services are delivered to a high standard for the CPLRF.

About You:

You will have a clear passion for business administration and bring that passion with you into CFRS. A people person with strong administration skills, your ability to build relationships will allow you to really support the Forum.

In addition, we will look to you to have the following:

  • Clerical/Customer Service experience
  • Experience of handling and maintaining computerised records / data files
  • Fully proficient at using IT systems, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Office packages
  • Good typing/word processing skills
  • Competent minute taking
  • Able to work as part of a team to deliver services
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Articulate communicator, able to present and explain issues verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships and maintain rapport with others - able to communicate in a friendly, open and constructive manner
