Service Graphics is looking to fill the position of Production Operative on a full time, permanent basis. The role is initially based at our Manchester location, but will then move to a new branch in Ashton.
The purpose of the role is to support all production departments ensuring Service Graphics delivers excellence to clients in line with the Company values and behaviours. Fostering and contributing to a positive working environment and taking responsibility for the delivery of tasks delegated by site leads and management.
Main Accountabilities:
- Support print, finishing and distribution departments where required
- Complete ancillary tasks, such as heat bending, shrink wrapping, lamination, mounting and packing or any other task as required
- Binding and finishing of documents
- To deliver work on time and to a high standard
- Minimal errors to avoid re-working, spoilage and or complaints
Essential Competencies and Behaviours:
- Effective and appropriate communication style
- Demonstrate an approachable and helpful manner
- Diplomacy, integrity and professionalism when working with the public, customers and colleagues
- Ability to listen, understand, make suggestions and interpret requirements of customers and colleagues
- Competency and confidence in Microsoft and IT programmes
Desirable Competencies:
- Relevant experience in a similar role or environment in Print, POS, Display or manufacturing business
